the first t-shirt quilt i ever made (the red sox one) was back in 2005, the summer after the red sox won their first world series in my lifetime. i used some shirts that i had picked up from a pop-up t-shirt tent on the side of the road, one shirt bought in the PVD airport, and a few of my brothers old shirts. it’s perfect as a blanket in the grass or to warm you up in a drafty old 1800s house in new england. aka my house.
the second t-shirt quilt i used all my old camp t-shirts, sweatshirts, pj pants, and old counselor centerpiece. it’s definitely a favorite. it’s perfect for camp weather. my sister is actually using it at camp this summer…because that’s where it belongs.
